Office Hours
Office Hours
- Anytime my door is open. I'll usually be in my office for a few hours after each of my classes.
- The best way to make sure I'll be there is to make an appointment. Just drop me an email!
Research
Recently my research focused on the simulation of light scattering in terms of realistic image synthesis (the soft lighting on the dolphin image above). I've also been involved in some bioinformatics related problems; a few of these projects are shown below.
- Samples of old projects:
- Mouse Placenta: Scientific Visualization
- Light Scattering: Real time subsurface scattering model
- Various synthesized images I've made.
- Publications
Since moving to St. Lawrence I have been interested in introducing undergraduates to real research problems. I literally have a pile of open problems accessible to the motivated undergraduate. Feel free to stop by if you're interested.
I have several exciting projects in the works involving real time rendering, bioinformatics, and data visualization.
- Ant map applet in the works. (It may be slow and even crash, but give it a try!)
Fun Stuff
I randomly update this section every semester. Check back next semester to see what's changed.
