| This
is awarded each year for the best research paper on some aspect of research
in astronomy submitted to the Prize Committee. The submitted materials
are quite often derived from the dissertation of the student, but they
can be from any original research. In the case of work done in collaboration
with a faculty member, that faculty member should write a letter to the
Committee in which their participation and that of the student are clearly
detailed.The Prize winner receives a check for $500 when the Prize lecture
is delivered. |
