• The 2 kg mass is placed on top of the angle bracket to keep it from falling off the board.

• Make sure string pulls directly over pulley; this takes a lot of adjusting (also required before each lab).

• Be sure to have sufficient masses suspended to that any small closure error is small compared to the average weight.

• Don't forget that the mass hanger is itself 50 g.
