• Observe I and V for two resistors in series & in parallel.
  • Ignore the negative signs you may read on the voltmeter/ammeter (connection reversed!)
• Examine effects of open & short circuit for two bulbs connected in series, parallel.

• For each of these circuits:
  • What is the relationship between:
    • the measured voltages?
    • the measured currents?
  • What is the equivalent resistance, R_eq?

• Bulb circuits: No meters used!
• Short circuit:
  • Bulbs in series:
    • Have your circuit checked before proceeding!
  • Bulbs in parallel:
    • UNPLUG POWER SUPPLY BEFORE CONNECTING!
    • Why do I ask you to do this?
