• Lab setup (photo details):
  • If compasses get their orientations flipped, put them in the box marked "backwards compasses"; Jeff will fix them following the instructions on Re-Aligning a Compass Using a Magnetizer
  • The magnet warning signs from last week's experiment should be left in place
  • The DC power panel in the storeroom gets set to around 6 volts; Jeff will make this connection.
