- Examine charges (+ and –) on insulators and conductors
- Next week:
- Meet in our regular lab room (Bewkes 231)
- Read "Using a Digital Multimeter"** before lab! You'll refer to this document many times this semester.

- For each experiment:
- Briefly describe what you are doing, and why!
- Draw a sketch (or sketches) showing how the charges are moving
- Briefly describe and explain your observations
- Only the negative charges are free to move!

- Add pictures showing the charge distribution on a neutral and charged conductor, as shown in blackboard photo above
