• Examine charges (+ and –) on insulators and conductors
• Next week:
  • Meet in our regular lab room (Bewkes 231)
  • Read "Using a Digital Multimeter"** before lab! You will refer to this document for three experiments this semester.
    • **A lab practical skill!

• Today:
  • Read and follow the directions carefully
  • Briefly describe what you are doing, your observations and explanations
  • Draw sketches showing how the charges are moving
• Only negative charges are free to move!

======================= Third Board Section =============================

• Add pictures showing the charge distribution on a neutral and charged conductor, as shown in blackboard photo above
