Physics 152 Set Up Instructions:
Finding Systematic Error
Lab Directions

Basic Idea:

This experiment uses the same equipment as Ohm's Law, except for the power supply
Ask Jeff which power supplies to use
DC regulated power supply Photo 1 – 30v dual supply (preferred)
or
2 – 30v single supplies
Majors storeroom, shelf C2
Digital Multimeter Photo 2 Majors storeroom, locked in steel cabinet
Two resistor's mounted on board 1 non-Majors storeroom, shelf P3
Wires 4 – 24"
1 – 12"
(1 additional 12" wire will be needed if two
single power supplies are connected in series!)
Bewkes 231 (Phys 152 Lab)
Digital Multimeter – extras on instructor's bench 2 Majors storeroom, locked in steel cabinet
The equipment below is used for the instructor demo
