The Impact of Impedance Matching and Temperature
on a Variety of Solar Cells
Scott Hays
Abstract:
Different characteristics of several types of photovoltaic cells were examined. The types of cells included single crystal and polycrystalline silicon on a silicon substrate and "sunceram" on a glass substrate. The characteristics examined were efficiency, the load resistance that yields the highest power out, and the effects of temperature on voltage.
