Bohm Trajectories in the 2-D Harmonic Oscillator
and Possible Applications to Quantum Chaos

Abstract:

In this paper we explore a few of the many question that arise when the quantum mechanical analogues of classically chaotic systems are considered. While we are unable to answer any significant questions in this regard, we are brought to new questions and a closer understanding of this rich and still vastly unexplored topic. Particularly, we are interested to see if Bohm trajectories might not be used in the investigation of quantum chaos. But before we summarize our findings, some introductory material is in order.
