POW #11
Farmer Brown’s Omelet

Farmer
Brown’s chickens have been very productive laying eggs recently. In fact, he now has the large number of eggs
to process that is shown below.

He puts the eggs into cartons of one dozen each until they are all packed
and ready to send to market. With any eggs that are left over (don’t fill a
final carton completely) he will make himself an omelet for breakfast as a
reward for his hard work.
How many eggs will farmer Brown have left for his omelet?
Be sure to justify your answer.
Due Friday, December 7th at Noon.
Last
POW for the semester!
