Cube in a Pyramid

 

 

Consider a pyramid with a square base (each side of which has length 2 units) with a height in the center of 1 unit.  Imagine building a cubic room inside this pyramid such that the top edges of the cube run along the slanted sides of the pyramid as pictured below (not necessarily to scale).  Neglecting the thickness of any walls, find the dimensions of the cube.
