Masked Cornell slides, 2m stick taped to bench. Leave a bit
of space between meter stick and end of bench
|

The meter stick is held in front of the Hydrogen tube,
centered at 50 cm mark
|

Old method used test-tube clamps to attach meter stick to rod.
Be sure to use meter stick clamps instead |

Clip small lights to meter stick balancing pivots. Make sure there's
enough slack in power cord to move calipers freely. |

The small light wires are lengthened as shown.
Use wires that have a single closed connector at one end
(hanging in Bewkes 205) |

The final setup,
as seen from the front.
