Masked Cornell slides, 2–m stick taped to bench. Leave a bit
of space between meter stick and end of bench

The meter stick is held in front of the Hydrogen tube,
centered at 50 cm mark

Old method used test-tube clamps to attach meter stick to rod.
Be sure to use meter stick clamps instead

Clip small lights to meter stick balancing pivots. Make sure there's
enough slack in power cord to move calipers freely.

The small light wires are lengthened as shown.
Use wires that have a single closed connector at one end
(hanging in Bewkes 205)

The final setup, as seen from the front.
(old H-tube shown)
