• Lab Setup (photo details):
  • Note that this setup uses many of the parts from the previous week
  • The motion detector and end stop have to be flipped from last week's setup (motion detector on left side of track, end stop on right side), as well as the direction of the cart without plunger ('magnet side' facing motion detector)
  • The force sensor that is still connected (from last week) to CH1 is now on the left side of the track; the sensor added this week, on the right side of the track, gets connected to CH2.
  • An electronic balance is needed on each lab bench for this experiment. Jeff will place them in the lab before each section.
