  • Here is the rubric that will be used in assessing your final paper (and drafts thereof). Your first draft will be due by 11:59pm on Thursday, 4/7.
  • Here is an example of a very good final paper from a previous iteration of a seminar similar to this one, posted with the student's permission. There is no page minimum and everyone's paper will (of course) be different, but this is one example of one way to write a good final paper. Note that if you are taking this seminar for honors, you should look at the honors theses in the Majors Room for more appropriate examples for what a thesis should look like.
  • Here's a zip file containing the .tex and other associated files for a random paper. You can use it as a template if you are not that familiar with TeX. For (a lot) more information on various commands and environments in LaTeX, check out this manual. If you have any technical questions about the basics of using LaTex, please let me know.
