F.A.Q.

What is the HUB?

The Hub is a couple of different things - a theme house, a club, a place for nerds to hang out, a video game lounge and more.

Where is the HUB?

Good question. The Hub is located at 1 Lincoln Street, which is off of Park Street. It is the large white house behind 62 Park, between the Outing Club and the Greenhouse. It is across the street from O.D.Y. Library.

Can I live at the HUB?

Of course! Well, you have to apply first, and it would help to come and get to know us a little bit. There are 22 people who live in the Hub, and every year there are between 6 & 10ish spots available. If there are spaces available, you can apply for Spring semester if you are an upperclassmen. There is one single and one triple, and the rest of the rooms are doubles.

Am I nerdy enough to live at the HUB?

Of course! A lot of people think that The Hub is only for hardcore comic book, video game, and computer nerds. Think of The Hub as more of an all-accepting group of people on campus. We're united by our passions, but these range across video and board games, art, film making, TV shows, movies, comic books, and more! We like to think of ourselves as an alternative to quotidien SLU culture that allows students to comfortably be themselves in a safe and accepting environment.
